Description This piece was inspired by a trip to sacred sites in Ethiopia where the functional blends with the sacred. The surface has a bowl carved into the top for fruit, objects or collections of special things. The piece includes handmade hinges and hardware. Giving a gentle opening and closing mechanism a beautiful and poetic usability to everyday functionality.
